Wandering Zoo is led by Arzoo Hansen, a digital media specialist with over a decade of experience in successfully managing marketing and communications for cultural institutions, advocacy campaigns, and corporate, public and international affairs.
Arzoo has a proven track record of launching online presences, building followership, managing five- and six-figure digital ad budgets, engaging with communities, and creating content that promotes high engagement without compromising authenticity or brand voice.
Arzoo’s digital campaigns include a ballot initiative for ranked choice voting in New York City, a paid campaign for the ‘NY HEAT Act,’ an integrated campaign that helped a nonprofit shift its fundraising gala online, and social media strategy for The Atlantic’s annual festival.
Prior to launching Wandering Zoo, Arzoo held full-time digital communications roles at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and, the Museum of Arts and Design, and Con Edison where she helped dramatically grow social media followers, audience engagement, email sign-ups and web traffic.
