Strategy-driven digital campaigns for advocacy, culture, and public affairs.
Wandering Zoo was founded and is led by Arzoo Hansen, a New York City–based digital media strategist with experience spanning advocacy, public affairs, the arts, and civic campaigns.
Through Wandering Zoo, Arzoo leads marketing and communications for nonprofits, advocacy organizations, public affairs firms, and cultural institutions, guiding paid and organic digital campaigns from planning through execution.
With over a decade of experience, she has launched new digital presences, grown and engaged online communities, managed five- and six-figure paid media campaigns, and developed audience-first strategies that drive meaningful engagement and action.
Before founding Wandering Zoo, Arzoo led digital communications initiatives at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Museum of Arts and Design, and Con Edison — expanding social audiences, increasing engagement, and increasing subscriber and web traffic growth.
Her past and current clients have included national media organizations, higher education institutions, healthcare and social service nonprofits, arts organizations, and electoral and issue-based campaigns.
Arzoo holds an M.A. in International Affairs from The New School and a B.A. in Communications from Pace University. You can connect with her on LinkedIn.
